Gotcha!

I have received a report back from our Sgt Lowrie of Chadwell Ward Safer Neighbourhoods team.

He has confirmed that yesterday 1753 vehicles were read on the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) equipment of these 56 hits culminated in:

• 8 vehicles being seized for a variety of offences
• 3 vehicles were PG9 (i think this means the licence plate was illegal - I will get clarification)
• several drug searches
• a vehicle was returned to a hire company.

This is a good result for Chadwell and Goodmayes and is the result of innovative and diligent work by our Chadwell Team.
