A public meeting is to be held regarding local flood risk and people are being invited to raise their concern over potential flood fears to industry experts. The meeting is to be held at the prince Regent Hotel, Manor Road, Woodford Bridge between 7pm and 9.30pm on Tuesday 23rd June 2009. In attendance will be Redbridge Council, The Environment Agency, Thames Water, The Met Police and the Fire Brigade.Free coach service to the event from certain areas contact me for further details.
This meeting has been arranged following the recent flooding at the River Roding a result of torrential rains and excessive snow this year. If you are a local concerned residents this is a great chance to be a part of the management decision making process and to learn more about local flood concerns.
