Have Your Say - Help Shape the Future of the High RoadIssues and Options Stage Consultation 11 May – 19 June 2009
As part of the continuing preparation of its Local Development Framework, the Council is preparing an Area Action Plan (AAP) for the High Road, running from the eastern edge of Ilford Town Centre to the boundary with the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham in Chadwell Heath.
The AAP will set out a planning framework for the area and aims to improve the overall character and quality of the High Road, and maximise the potential benefits of future Crossrail stations located at Seven Kings, Goodmayes and Chadwell Heath. It must be in general conformity and consistent with Redbridge’s adopted Local Development Documents, particularly the Core Strategy and Borough Wide Primary Policies Development Plan Documents.
Initial consultation to inform the content of the Area Action Plan will take place for a period of six weeks between Monday 11 May and Friday 19 June 2009. The Council is seeking your views on the issues, opportunities and options, as set out in a consultation leaflet (PDF, 2.35mb) to inform the new planning framework for the High Road.
Sorry all I read this very late! perhaps more Car Parking around the stations would be a good option....?
