Today was the second meeting of this Neighbourhood Watch organisation and many local people attended the meeting. The Chairman of the group Paul Sampson has set a number of priorities including collating a list of the different Management Agents looking after all the properties, which will allow better communication when trying to resolve local issues.They are to prepare a new newsletter and have agreed a 6 weekly programme of meetings. Members of the group are particularly concerned that Redbridge Council may not be exercising their responsibilities with respect to the maintenance and street cleaning of adopted sections of the road and I have offered to investigate this issue. The group looks like a very strong unit and I would encourage other residents of the estate to join this forward thinking team.
