Ground level crossing at Whalebone Lane

I will keep chasing TFL until they fulfill their promise to introduce a safe ground level crossing at Whalebone Lane. I emailed TFL yesterday, requesting and update and received a very positive response today. In the response they intimated that a solution (project) may be initiated far sooner than I originally anticipated:

"It is on the programme to be looked at this year, however I cannot give you any specifics on timescales. We will, as part of the process, consult on any options once a design has been progressed."

This as you will remember was the culmination of a lot of hard endeavour!
