Events in Redbridge (apologies for the late update)

Free Summer Fun Day at Mossford Park Barking side from 10:00 - 16:00. Organised by the Local Churches. this will include a funfair, Music a bouncy Castle and Face painting.

Mossford Park is at the top of Horns Road opposite the Magistrates Court.

Indian Music Day Sunday 14 June
Venue:
Valentines Mansion
Time: 11 am to 4 pm
Event: Redbridge Museum presents a series of short films about Indian music and dance in London. Films will be screened all day and feature the London Sitar Ensemble, Kathak dance, Guru Soundz music shop in Ilford and a history of Indian vinyl in Southall.
Live music comes from the master violinist Jyotsna Srikanth. She will be performing live at 12pm, 2pm and 3pm. Indian Music Day celebrates the end of Redbridge Museum’s ‘Asian Roots’ exhibition, on at the Central Library, Ilford until 13 June.
Join us as we take part in the Story of London, a new festival from the Mayor of London. Celebrate aspects of Redbridge’s past and present through history, film, music and literature. Revisit your borough with fresh eyes.
Price: FREE – no need to book

However, the list is constantly available on the Redbrige I by following the link I provide on my weekend updates - I just provide reminders of whats happening over the weekend. Although admitted, the Redbridge I did not cover the excellent event in Barkingside (Mossford Park) by Local Churches.
