In the picture to the left you will see that road workers from Kenson's contracted to Our council are completing the necessary road repairs to the public highway are mentioned in my previous post. By the time you get home today this work should be complete. If you See Darren and Lee please offer them a drink as they were working hard all day (even in the rain I should add). I have asked the Council to commend their very tidy unobtrusive and extremely expedient work to their employers!
Here you can see Isla pointing out the repairs to the road surface at which an odd piece of
iron cabling was removed from the road surface - the cable posed a real safety threat to vehicles and pedestrians. Our thanks to Isla's NHW member who advised her of both these issues.
