It has been known in some parts of Britain for youths to connect Super Woofers to lamp posts to facilitate street parties. This fact coupled with the recent EDF delays with the removal of disused/broken lamp posts and the implicated danger highlighted by the bright yellow hazard tape - has prompted me to request the highways team to remove this lamp post and install a replacement at Gresham Drive with utmost expediency. I will confirm a date and will post it on this blog at a later date.

I should add... only a year ago whilst with the Labour Party, I detailed to residents a sighting of children tampering with the opening of a similar post on Reynolds Avenue!
