Not in my back yard!

Complaints have been received from residents of Shepherds Close regarding the fact that litter has been collected from a rear alley way to properties on the longest stretch of this road, for over 10 years - yet the General Cleansing Team refuse to send a street cleaning vehicle to this private road. Much of the litter in this alleyway is a product of the waste collection service and it seems odd not to compliment the service with the usual clean up programme? I have asked the General Cleansing Team to look into this matter.

In addition to this concern the residents at no.42 Shepherds Close has left a lot of bulky waste at the rear of his property. This is acting as a magnet for additional littering. The Streetscene Team have been advised of this concern also.
