I urge local residents to be vigilant as arson attacks are increasing in our ward. 2 bin areas on the Grove farm Estate (Bengeo Road), 1 bin area within the Quarles Park Road estate, 2 bin areas within Capstan Close and Millhaven Close, two sheds in the Chadwell Heath allotments on Chadwell Heath Lane have been targeted - it should be noted theses are the only ones I have heard of and does not constitute the entirety of the concern.
To me it seems with such frequency and the specific locality of the attacks - that they could all possibly be the result of one individual or group. The police have been made aware of all theses attacks and at a public meeting a resident purported that they have seen a local school gang present at one of the arson attacks. I cannot of course ascertain the veracity of such a statement and ask residents to keep an open-mind.
