At the Grove 1 Estate meeting today we had only a few attendants, however some very positive outcomes.- The Police have agreed to work towards obtaining an Antisocial Behaviour contract (ABC) on the residents living at two properties on Bengeo Gardens from where much of the local disturbances are arising.
The General Cleansing Team have agreed to:
- write to L&Q and Winchester Properties asking them to place lids on the bins under the "Control of Pests" act.
- investigate possible residual litter being left by their workmen during litter collection and to instruct them to ensure this is cleared up in future.
- inspect the state of the bin shelters at the estate and ask L&Q and Winchester Properties to provide additional bins if necessary.
This is a very good result for the Grove 1 Estate residents!
