In the image you will notice that Highways contractors have placed their equipment at one of the few locations on Mayesford Road where parking is available. 3 Parking places have been lost while the 7 month Major Road work programme is underway. I have asked the Highways team to ask the Contractors to move the equipment just 20 yards around the corner to the are in the picture on Reynolds avenue to minimise resident disturbance while the works are being completed. I believe this to be a more sensible solution -see image 2.
