Whilst walking along the High Road distributing our recent letter to residents Isla Martin and I noticed the broken bollard opposite Burns Avenue leading to the Commercial estate with Smyths Toys. I have reported this to the Highways department.
A residents stopped us and asked us to report the lead pole sticking out of the pavement. You can just see it in the mid centre, of the lower part of the picture (click on image to enlarge). It does seem dangerous, however, I do not know if the pavement is privately or publicly owned. I have reported the matter to the highways department.
