Overton Drive Success!

A resident brought his concern to me regarding the light being emitted into his house from a street light that had been placed to the fore of his main bedroom window - a consequence of the council's policy to provide clear visibility at junctions. I found a simple solution and managed to convince street lighting to install the screen viewable in the image.
The other concern raised by the local resident, was in relation to two bollards that had been installed in respect to a lorry company, previously located in the vicinity - who abused local parking regulations. One of these bollards was to the fore of the gentleman's property and he had asked for its removal and the relocation of the lamp post previously mentioned, so that he could implement a drive. Parking is scarce found on this road - due to the nearby Chadwell Heath Station.

The Council refused to remove the lamp post due to cost, however on agreement that he funded a drive they committed to removing the bollard. The size of the Drive is not conventional, but it facilitates a need and has brought much solace to the local resident. Who appears in the shot with me above.

There is still one bollard to be removed and I have asked the Council to remove the item, that is causing a parking nuisance, without any recognisable benefit?
