Reads Close Attack (nr Chapel Road) - Ilford is a dangerous place to live!

Wilson at the Police cordon next to Reads Close on Sunday!

On Saturday a man was attacked in what police are reporting as an act of "Grievous Bodily Harm" (GBH). He is currently in hospital fighting for his life and police are seeking any witnesses. The man was found just after 11pm and a 24 hour manned Police cordon (all weekend) surrounded the car park area and public convenience facility on the Chapel Road, Island (Reads Close was cordoned - not quite on Chapel Road as reported elsewhere).
