Are you having troubles with your social landlord?

A new regulatory body has been formed to curb the poor performance of socila landlords and to provide benchmarking data for those most affected.

The body is called the Tenant Services Authority and they are in the proces of a national consultation. More details can be found (here).

I hope residents of the Wimpey One Estate, Millhaven Estate, and Richmond Place Estate communicate their concerns to this body.

Social housing standards in Redbridge seem to have declined in recent years, with increases in antisocial behaviour a product of poor design in housing structures and their amenities. The response rates to concerns are abysmally slow, if not hard to obtain in Redbridge. I hope this body will resolve these long standing issues, making the lives of residents in such estates more bearable.
