At an Area 5 committee meeting in February a Highways scheme for the increase in Bus No parking zones and an increase in the time allocations for the existing no parking zones for the High Road from Seven Kings to Chadwell was accepted. I was not present at the meeting as I had not been informed of the 1 week postonement - resulting from the first meeting being on the day that the severe snow first fell.Unfortunately this means the Chadwell Heath High Road no waiting restrictions will now be increasing to 07:00 - 19:00. I now this is disappointing news for Shoppers and Shop owners alike who have been appealing for the availability of more parking.
I am aware that some residents will suffer the consequences of penalties due to ignorance of this change and ask that viewers of this story, inform others of the need to not park during the new prohibited times
