Many of you will be unaware of the great success of one of our local schools. Chadwell Heath Foundation School on Christie Gardens was named in the top nine in the country for its GCSE Success. An award was received from the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust for the progress its students made between the ages of 11- 16.

Probably one of the things on which the school is strong is the appropriate use of apostrophes.

Just could not resist almost four weeks in Slovenia and Austria. The Slovenes are such nice people they were even praising England's victory over their own team!

ReplyDeleteWhere smoking is banned but the windows are all open onto the second most polluted roundabout in London!
ReplyDeletePerhaps the pollution levels are increased by the number of inveterate smokers standing outside the pub to indulge their habit - or even have some correlation to the mumber of aging BMWs driven around the area.
